Video Game Christmas Wishlist: Destiny in Your Hands

Christmas is going to arrive before you know it. Rushing around to buy presents a week before isn’t the way to handle the holiday. I’ve got your back and took all of the work out of buying gifts for the special someone in your life that can’t stop playing Destiny.

Guardian, fate is in your hands, and you can light up your friends face better than a Defender’s Spike Grenade lights up a dark hallway.

Destiny Controller Skins ($10)

Dropping the controller is near impossible for someone that loves Destiny, and you’re about to make it that much harder with these skins. They apply directly to a PS4 or Xbox One controller and give you a customized look to show off exactly which game has worn down your joysticks. Each skin comes in a set of two, which is perfect for anyone that can wear down the design after a few months.

Iron Banner Tee ($22.95 – $24.95)

Iron Banner is the event that gets everyone excited. It’s hard to find someone who refuses to play Iron Banner, because it gives Guardians the chance to win the best items. With this shirt, your friend can show off exactly which event they're looking forward to each month. The shirt comes in four colors and five sizes, but one thing stays the same: the gold Iron Banner logo on the front.

Do you have what it takes?

Ghost Decal ($3.50)

Whether you love Nolan North’s take on the Ghost or you have a yearning for Dinklebot, you'll love this Ghost decal. The 5.5-inch decal is perfect for your car window, room, or even your laptop. It comes in larger sizes and colors as well, including an 11” or 23″ sticker in both black and white. This Little Light is a great addition to anyone’s household.

Destiny Class Wallet ($19.99)

Everyone has a “main,” even though we have three characters. Some people even make three of the same class, and that makes this wallet perfect. This durable, officially licensed wallet comes in three styles—titan, hunter, and warlock. Maybe your someone will love it so much they’ll offer to pay for food or coffee just to show it off.

Who knows?

Guardian Journal ($12.88)

Keeping track of thoughts is a must if you want to defend the Tower and the Traveler against the Darkness. Being humanity’s last hope can be pretty tough, but this journal gives you the chance to write down whatever comes to mind. People to contact when it’s time for a raid, directions on what to do during an event, or quests you can complete during your all-nighter will be perfect for this journal.

The Art of Destiny ($26.65)

People can argue all day long whether Destiny is a good game or not, but it’s a unanimous decision that it’s a beautiful game. The art showcases some of the most amazing feats of technology and pushes consoles to their limit. The amazingly rendered planets visited in the game takes players across ruins, snowy wastelands, and so much more. Destiny is one of many titles that show video games can be art, and you can look at each landscape in detail in this book. It’s a great coffee table book, but I bet you couldn’t even put it down.

Custom Thumbstick Pads ($17.99)

These Destiny thumbstick pads will give your friend a competitive edge while playing in the Crucible, or even in player-versus-environment (PvE) situations. The pads increase the thumbstick height by up to 7.1 mm and are designed to have a convex/concave surface to improve accuracy in all game play scenarios. KontrolFreek has both PS4 and Xbox One designs.
